Xiaomi has once again stepped into the spotlight, unveiling its latest lineup of smartphones and smart appliances in a direct challenge to Samsung’s dominance in the global tech market.
The highlight of the launch is the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro, two devices designed to bridge the gap between premium performance and accessible pricing. Both models feature a large 6.83-inch OLED display, with the 15T supporting up to 120 Hz refresh rates and the Pro pushing ahead with a 144 Hz panel and higher brightness levels. Powering these devices are MediaTek’s latest processors: the Dimensity 8400-Ultra in the 15T and the more advanced Dimensity 9400+ in the Pro. Each phone houses a substantial 5,500 mAh battery, with the 15T supporting 67 W fast charging and the Pro upgrading to 90 W wired charging alongside 50 W wireless charging.

Photography takes center stage in Xiaomi’s strategy, with the 15T carrying a 50 MP main sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2× zoom. The 15T Pro goes even further by including a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 5× optical zoom, a feature usually reserved for top-tier flagships. Both devices also come with IP68 water and dust resistance and satellite communication features, though currently limited to calls between Xiaomi 15T users. Storage options extend up to 512 GB on the 15T and up to 1 TB on the 15T Pro, with 12 GB of RAM standard across both models. Prices start around €649 for the Xiaomi 15T and €799 for the Pro, positioning them well below many flagship rivals while still delivering premium specifications.
Alongside smartphones, Xiaomi also expanded its smart appliance ecosystem, strengthening its presence in home technology. From AI-enhanced appliances to tighter integration across its HyperOS platform, Xiaomi is building a full ecosystem aimed at competing directly with Samsung’s established smart device portfolio. The combination of aggressive pricing, advanced features, and ecosystem development signals Xiaomi’s intent to secure a stronger foothold in global markets, appealing to consumers seeking premium experiences without the premium cost.
